*** New *** For those guests needing a 3rd bedroom, we have a 'Sheepcamp' just steps from the cabin, in the trees, with a full sized bed....available to add to your booking, in season. Go to the end of the pictures in the Cabin section and you will see...and be delighted~! Just might need to bring more friends!
TWO BEDROOM
This 2 bedroom/1 bath apartment delights all who see it, fresh and contemporary with a huge fenced yard~views of Mt Sopris from the patio until the massive shade tree is in full leaf. Lovely perimeter gardens at the fencing. Fully renovated interior - gutted to the studs, added skylight, redesigned layout, entirely new everything! AC in the Living room and personal fans for additional cooling. We have tri-fold twin mattress pads, thick and cushy, for extra kids. Say you are 2 couples, each with a child...we have the mattresses for them, but let us know in advance so they are on site. However, we can not accommodate 6 adults. Rent the apartment next door ...that would be ideal. Both are right off of Main Street...easy walking to memorable dining, morning lattes, film fest worthy screenings, yoga...and best pasture raised burgers anywhere!
ONE BEDROOM
Easy access to your ground level apartment...park right outside your fenced yard. Sunny and light with wood blind windows and AC in the summer. Dine-in full kitchen or cook outside on the BBQ. Cozy up with Roku TV. W/D, wifi, luxury linens included. Ideal for a couple, but there is a very comfortable full sized couch, with cozy bedding. Easy for two children to share, not 2 adults. No privacy between the bedroom and the living room. More than a hotel room with in-town convenience, for a hotel room price!
PRICING
SEASONS:
Our high season is from Memorial Day until Labor Day....with Ski season from Christmas through Spring break being the next high season. Our shoulder seasons are just after Spring break and from Labor Day until Nov 1. Our off season is from Nov 1 until Christmas, aside from Thanksgiving, and from when the mountains close until Memorial Day. ONE BEDROOM
Nightly rate is $165. Weekly bookings discounted 10% and monthly bookings discounted 20% but also aren't charged tax for stays longer than 30 nights
TWO BEDROOM
Nightly rate is $265. Weekly bookings discounted 10% and monthly bookings discounted 20% but also aren't charged tax for stays longer than 30 nights
CABIN
Nightly rate is $275. Weekly bookings discounted 10% and monthly bookings discounted 20% but also aren't charged tax for stays longer than 30 nights
SHEEPCAMP
Must be booked along with Cabin in order to use bathroom and kitchen facilities....rates is $75 a night. Available in warm seasons only.
PET FEE
We charge $25 per pet per stay....with a max of $50 per stay....to cover extra cleaning and pooper scooping that you may miss. We can only accommodate 3 pups. If your pup is friendly only to you, please leave them at home...especially if you are staying at the cabin as we have canine hosts~!
SALES AND LODGING TAX
There is no tax for stays longer than 30 nights. In downtown Carbondale...the 1 and 2 bedroom....the sales/lodging tax is 18.15% including a new 6% short term lodging tax. The Cabin is 5.3% for the state and county as it is out of town.
DISCOVER DOWNTOWN CARBONDALE
Carbondale is a really laid back town with many fine restaurants.....bikes racks full while people dine. There are juried sculptures on almost every street corner...the town has a cool, creative vibe. Always lots of people out and about with their kids and dogs. Plenty of green space to hang out with your to-go meal, a Farmer's Market on Wednesday's, First Friday events every month and often live music on the weekends. Prepare to make friends~!!! It's just plain happening~!
ABOUT US
Nina and Jess have been property managers for over 25 years and have had vacation rentals for more than 10 years. We are Super Hosts, according to the prominent booking sites. We live locally, on the Cabin property....with the Cabin privately placed apart from our home.
Jess is an Architect and responsible for the magical design and Nina is an artist, responsible for the comfortable interiors. We both teach skiing and can help you score the perfect local vacation...from skiing to hiking to mountain biking trails...and more. We are parents to 2 college graduates...and have 4 canine hosts that will love your visiting pups. We also have 2 horses which pretty much hang out and add to the bucolic vistas~!
